Hooray! As the comic-superhero-movies-mania is heating up for quite a while now (just a notice), it seems that we will have another fine addition to the sub-genre. The talk is, Twentieth Century Fox is planning to begin the shooting of its
X-Men: First Class sequel in January 2013, in order to avoid potential conflict with Lionsgate plans for
The Hunger Games sequel involving
Jennifer Lawrence.

X-Men: First Class 2 was originally planned for this fall, in which way the conflict would be inevitable since
The Hunger Games sequel,
Catching Fire, is to enter production this August-September (not that Fox wouldn't have won anyway, considering the fact that Lawrence signed the contract with Fox before the Hunger Games deal, but it is always nice to be civil).
Matthew Vaughn is expected to helm the sequel as he did the first part, Jennifer Lawrence to reprise her role of Mystique and pretty much the entire cast from the first part –
James McAvoy,
Michael Fassbender,
Rose Byrne and others – should be seen yet again together.
