Yep, this brand new set photo (click to enlarge) from
X-Men: Days of Future Past is some kind of proof that
Lucas Till is once again on board to play
Alex Summers aka
Havok in the whole thing. But, as you already see from our title, that's not all we know about
Bryan Singer‘s upcoming superhero film, 'cause more characters and more story details are waiting for you in the rest of this report.
First of all, let us say that this huge update comes straight from
Vulture, who report that all those previous rumors were quite true, and that
Peter Dinklage is indeed attached to play the film's primary antagonist – a creator of the Sentinels,
Bolivar Trask, while
Josh Helman is indeed set to play a young version of
William Stryker.
As you already know,
Bryan Singer directs the movie, which is already set to hit theaters on May 23rd, 2014, from a script written by
Simon Kinberg, and the whole thing is based on the
Uncanny X-Men storyline
Days of Future Past by
Chris Claremont and
John Byrne.
According to the same source, in Singer's movie
Ellen Page will return as
Kitty from the
Brett Ratner–directed
X-Men: The Last Stand, but:
… this time she uses her powers to send Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty's powers and bring their friend back to the future.
What a mess!
Anyway, let's try to put some order here:
James McAvoy is Charles Xavier / Professor X
Michael Fassbender is Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto
Jennifer Lawrence is Raven Darkhölme / Mystique
Nicholas Hoult is Hank McCoy / Beast
Halle Berry is Ororo Munroe / Storm
Anna Paquin is Marie / Rogue
Hugh Jackman is Logan / Wolverine
Shawn Ashmore is Bobby Drake / Iceman
Daniel Cudmore is Peter Rasputin / Colossus
Fan Bingbing is Clarice Ferguson / Blink
Evan Peters is Pietro Maximoff / Quicksilver
Boo Boo Stewart is James Proudstar / Warpath
The rest of the cast also includes
Ian McKellen (older Magneto) ,
Patrick Stewart (older Professor Charles Xavier),
Omar Sy (rumored as Bishop) and
Adan Canto (rumored as Roberto da Costa).
Let us know what you think about this update & stay tuned for more!
