The long awaited teaser trailer for Walt Disney Animation Studios'
Wreck-It Ralph is now officially released online. The 52nd in Disney's official canon of animated films, Wreck-It Ralph is directed by
Rich Moore, a former animation director of The Simpsons and Futurama.
Set in an ‘80s arcade game the trailer takes a glimpse at the life of the Wreck-It Ralph (voice of
John C Reilly) the bad-guy who has become tired of his seemingly endless job. All day every day, he damages a building full of people, only for the heroic, beloved Fix-It Felix (voice of
Jack McBrayer) to come along and repair it, to the delight of the occupants.
Ralph begins to realize he no longer wants to be the villain, so he brings trouble to his entire arcade after sneaking into a new first-person shooter game and unleashing a deadly enemy.
We're also introduced to other characters such as Sergeant Calhoun (voiced by
Jane Lynch) and Vanellope von Schweetz (voiced by
Sarah Silverman) who proves to be more than a handful.
