OMG! This is sure to upset some people. Anne Fontaine (Coco Before Chanel, The Girl From Monaco) needs to balance between drama and merely being seamy in upcoming erotic drama film Two Mothers, which brings together Naomi Watts and Robin Wright for a very provocative story.
Two Mothers, previously known as The Grandmothers, follows Wright and Watts who end up falling in love with each other's son played by Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville, and the cast includes Ben Mendelsohn and Sophie Lowe.
Written byChristopher Hampton (A Dangerous Method), and based on a Doris Lessing novel ‘The Grandmothers,' the film debuted at Sundance recently and has received very mixed reviews from critics.
Go and judge for yourself when it opens in theaters later this summer.
But, before that, check out the first international trailer for the new Anne Fontaine film Two Mothers, first found by ONTD.
A gripping tale of love, lust, and the power of friendship, the film charts the unconventional and passionate affairs embarked upon by two lifelong friends, Lil and Roz, who fall in love with each other's sons. Afraid of facing the ire and judgment of their insular seaside community, they continue the relationships in secret over the years. Once the affairs are discovered, it threatens to tear apart their lives and those of the boys.
