In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the unforgettable classic, the swords-and-sorcery fantasy epic,
Willow, has been all-new digitally restored and debuts on Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack next March 12th, 2013 from Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
To promote the film starring
Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer and
Joanne Whalley, here's the new, good-looking trailer —
Adrian Biddle‘s cinematography looks rather nicely.
Fantasy adventure film from 1988, written in part by
George Lucas and directed by
Ron Howard is known for being the first movie to feature detailed morphing, but I agree they were right to not put it in the trailer. Unlike a lot of ILM's technical achievements, this one hasn't stood the test of time perfectly and some of the sequence the quality is excellent, some of it is much less than that.
Check out the trailer for the new Willow Blu-ray along with never-before-seen deleted scenes such as scenes with remarks from Howard and a personal video diary of Davis.
