Stephen Chow‘s new film, which does not yet have a U.S. release date, but does have English subtitled trailer, which can be seen below.
However, subtitles don't do much to provide necessary context as to what's going on here, except this madness came from the mind of Chow, who has been quiet since 2008s CJ7.
A new martial arts comedy directed by Chow and
Chi-kin Kwok, Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons is set to open in theaters in Hong Kong on February 7th, 2013, which is just in time for the Chinese New Year.
The film stars
Qi Shu, Stephen Chow, Chrissie Chow, Zhang Wen, Bo Huang, Show Luo.
Although Chow isn't afraid of directing and starring in his films (Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer) Journey won't feature the prolific actor in a major role.
