The Scary Movie horror comedy parody film started in 2000 directed by big brother, actor- comedian Keenen Ivory Wayans. The first four films of the franchise have grossed over $800 million worldwide combined. The Weinstein Company's latest installment in their spoof comedy franchise is due to open in theaters from April 19th, 2013.
The fifth installment of the Scary Movie franchise now premieres its very first trailer, jam-packed with hilarious scenes that poke fun at Paranormal Activity 4.
The comedy with plenty of base material to spoof (Black Swan) featuring cameos by Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan and Heather Locklear, with leading performances from Ashley Tisdale and Kate Walsh along with Erica Ash, Simon Rex, Molly Shannon, Terry Crews, Marisa Saks, Jasmine Guy, Angie Stone, Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, Sherée Whitfield, Mike Tyson, Audrina Patridge, Kendra Wilkinson and Katt Williams.
The upcoming horror comedy movie is directed by Malcolm D. Lee based on script he co-wrote with David Zucker who also wrote the script for Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4.
Check out the Scary Movie 5 trailer that shows a clip of Jody, (played by Ashley Tisdale) a Caucasian late-20s mother of two engaged in a Skype chat online with her late-20s African American friend Kendra (played by Erica Ash) when something horrible goes wrong.
