The
first trailer for the film landed back in the fall 2012, and we've now got a new one-minute look at director
Steven Soderbergh's possibly final theatrically released film,
Side Effects.
New trailer takes almost no time to raise tension and the director's use of handheld close-up photography gives this trailer a feeling of unease akin to claustrophobia.
The psychological thriller stars
Rooney Mara, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones and
Channing Tatum, and each of them get a brief moment here as the mysterious web of lies and deceit seemingly begins to fall apart.
It would be great for the Oscar winning filmmaker Soderbergh to end his career not with a whimper, but a hell of a bang.
Based on a script by
Scott Z. Burns (Contagion) the movie will be in theaters February 8th, 2013.
