In advance of the new trailer for Pixar's Monsters University, the extended featurette has surfaced which features director Dan Scanlon talking about the June 21st release along with all-new footage. Actually, Scanlon pretty much lays out the entire plot of the movie.
Let's just say that the film involves a heavy fraternity element and it sounds like the folks at Pixar are drawing inspiration from classic college comedies.
Besides, James P. ‘Sully' Sullivan (John Goodman) is thinner and grows more fur, while Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) is shorter and wears retainer and, despite being inseparable that wasn't always the case.
The prequel also features the voices of Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray and Peter Sohn.
From the preview we are also introduced to the University mascot, Archie the Scare Pig and we learned that the only way to get back to University is to win the Greek Scare Games.
Hit the jump to take a look at the featurette and the latest promo, with Mike in his winter student garb. In case you haven't already watched it, check out Monsters University Rose Bowl TV Spot.
