This Is 40 will, no doubt, have a huge effect on viewer at the first viewing, especially many couples that hit a plateau with their marriage. A new red band featurette for
Judd Apatow's upcoming comedy has arrived to prove it.
Apatow explains how he decided to bring those characters back for this sort-of sequel to Knocked Up, and
Paul Rudd and Apatow's real-life wife
Leslie Mann talk about the real-life problems facing their characters, Pete and Debbie.
Another two members of Apatow's actual family starring in the fictional family are his daughters
Maude and
Iris.
There's also quite a bit of new footage that shows more of the film's humor and makes this featurette more like an extended trailer.
The comedy also stars
Megan Fox, John Lithgow, Melissa McCarthy, Robert Smigel, Charlene Yi and
Albert Brooks.
This Is 40 opens on December 21st.
If you've already seen enough of Apatow, I doubt this movie might turn you around. But if you like his movies, you have to give this one a chance.
