From
Google to the graphic novel!
Vince Vaughn is reportedly set to produce and star in the upcoming action comedy
Term Life, an adaptation of the
Image Comics graphic novel of the same name. The good (?) thing is that Vaughn will reteam with his
Couples Retreat director
Peter Billingsley, who's already on board to helm the project for Universal Pictures.
So, at this moment we know that the movie will revolve around the man who takes out a million-dollar policy to benefit his estranged daughter, but soon after realizes it doesn't take effect for 21 days.
Or, if you prefer the official description of
Term Life graphic novel, by
A.J. Lieberman and
Nick Thornborrow (published in 2011):
If Nick Barrow can stay alive for 21 days he'll die happy. Everyone Nick knows wants him dead; Mob bosses, contract killers, and dirty cops. Performing the last act of a desperate man, Nick takes out a million dollar insurance policy on himself, payable to his estranged daughter. The problem? The policy doesn't take effect for 21 days. Nick knows they'll be lucky to be alive for twenty-one hours.
Doesn't sound bad at all, but Vaughn as Nick Barrow? Man, that's awful!
Never mind, we'll keep an eye on it, so make sure you stay tuned for more updates!
