In addition to
three of the new designs revealed on the
Transformers Facebook page yesterday, the director
Michael Bay posted on his official Web site a shot of the new-look
Bumblebee today.
While
Optimus Prime has maintained most of his original look and paint job, save for a few new curves in the custom redesign by Daimler Trucks' Western Star, Bee is taking the form of a ‘highly modified, vintage 1967 Camaro SS.'
There's not much yellow left from the loyal yellow robot, but it's a slick little car.

The plot of the sci-fi action adventure sequel is still top secret, but Bay says in February,
The history of the first three movies is still there. We start four years later and there's a reason why we're meeting a new cast. We keep the ‘Transformers' the way they were. It's just four years later. There's a reason the Transformers are redesigned. We're trying to broaden the franchise and give it more places to go.
The fourth installment starring
Mark Wahlberg, T.J. Miller, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles and
Li Bingbin.
Production has started in Monument Valley in the Navajo Nation near the border of Arizona and Utah and ‘a continuation of the Transformers story' will slide into theaters on June 27th, 2014.
