Michael Bay has confirmed on his website a summer 2011 release date for “
Transformers 3.”
Bay claims they have a “great Transformers 3 story” and that he's currently en route to Rhode Island with screenwriter
Ehren Kruger (Transformers 2, Blood and Chocolate, The Brothers Grimm, Ring I, II) to chat up Hasbro and figure out which new robots will make their way into the third installment
Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I'm flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.
Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.
Michael
The release pits “Transformers 3” against such other high-profile blockbusters as “Spider-Man 4”, “The Hangover 2”, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Of Stranger Tides”, “Cars 2”, “The Green Lantern”, “First Avenger: Captain America” and “Kung Fu Panda 2.”
“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on October 20th, 2009.
Solid recommendation for then next Transformers: Fewer lines for Ms. Megan Fox
