Today we posted great poster for
Paul Thomas Anderson‘s
The Master but the first and amazing full length trailer for the movie now is here.
So here's a little preview of PTA's The Master movie, which is set to open this October. The movie has great cast on board, but as you'll see, the trailer is mostly about
Joaquin Phoenix who stars as Freddie Sutton, a drifter who becomes the right-hand man to Lancaster Dodd (
Philip Seymour Hoffman).
But it offers much better looks at some of the other talents including
Amy Adams as Dodd's wife and
Jesse Plemons as his son.
As we previously mentioned, The Master follows a charismatic intellectual, played by Hoffman, who launches a religious organization following World War II. Freddie becomes his right-hand man, but as the faith begins to gain a fervent following, he finds himself questioning the belief system and his mentor.
This definitely looks like a perfect role for Phoenix, and after seeing this trailer I'm
totally interested in this movie. Should we talk about Oscar now?
Let us know what you think, and don't forget, The Master is set to open on September 14th, 2012.
