In case you're not so familiar with this name,
Tom Harper is British director responsible for projects like
The Scouting Book for Boys, and
The Borrowers. But I'm sure you'll be more than interested to hear what his next project will be. So here we go, all of the sudden we have Harper attached to direct
The Woman In Black sequel, titled
The Woman In Black: Angels Of Death! Surprised?
I
am a little bit surprised by this news, but what the hell, let the whole thing continue! After all, we have no doubts in this project.
Jon Croker wrote the script and the movie will (logically) be the next instalment in the series, based on the original story written by
Susan Hill.
In other words,
The Woman In Black: Angels Of Death will pick up the story four decades after the events of the first film, setting the story during World War II with the arrival of a group of evacuee children at Eel Marsh House.
And here's the official part of the story:
Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed children to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve's efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.
So, what do you think about
The Woman In Black sequel, interested?
