Hammer Films have been working on the follow-up ever since The Woman in Black was released from a story idea by original author
Susan Hill with
Jon Croker (Desert Dancer) handling the screenplay.
Now BAFTA nominated director
Tom Harper (The Scouting Book for Boys) has signed on to direct
Angel of Death, the next installment of the worldwide box office hit.
A recent press release neither confirms nor denies that
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) will be reprising his role in a sequel to Hammer horror, which will continue the story four decades later.
Harper commented,
