Safe House is an upcoming action thriller that already has quite interesting cast –
Denzel Washington and
Ryan Reynolds.
But if you think that somebody is missing there, here we are to update the whole thing, because Grammy Award winner
Tim McGraw is in talks to join the cast as well!
Safe House centers on the only surviving agent of an attack on a CIA safe house as he tries to get a prisoner to a second safe house before being taken out by forces that want both of them dead.
Reynolds is set to play “the only surviving agent” while Washington is set to star as “lethal prisoner.”
On the other hand, McGraw will play “a CIA agent who is the mentor to Reynolds' character. He may not be all he appears to be.”
Safe House was written by
David Guggenheim, an Us Weekly editor who worked nights on the story and whose spec script landed him a new career as a hot Hollywood scribe.
Daniel Espinosa is directing the Universal project.
Safe House is expected for release in 2012, and as usual, we'll keep an eye on it!
