DIVERGENT Adds Theo James!

British actor Theo James is set to play the male lead in the upcoming Divergent movie! There you go, now we have a pretty interesting cast on board which (in case you already forgot) includes Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet, Maggie Q, Zoe Kravitz, Ansel Elgort and Jai Courtney. What also sounds promising is that even more (great) names are in talks to star in the whole thing. But, more about that – in the rest of this report… So, as we previously reported, director Neil Burger stands behind Divergent movie, which is already set to hit theaters on March 21st, 2014. The script comes from Evan Daugherty and is set in a future world where:

…people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities. Tris Prior is warned she is “divergent” and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it's too late.

Shailene Woodley is set to play the female lead aka Tris Prior, while Theo James comes on board to star as Four, described as a man with a mysterious past and Tris' intense but charismatic instructor and one of the leaders of the Dauntless faction. But, as we said – that's not all! According to THR, Aaron Eckhart, Ray Stevenson and Miles Teller are also in the process of joining the cast of the film. At the end of this report, let us once again remind you that the project is based on Veronica Roth‘s New York Times best seller and that principal photography should start next month in Chicago.
