Ready for more The Wolverine posters and banners? Good, 'cause we have three new character posters with Shingen, Mariko and Harada, as well as another international poster with the most iconic character of the X-Men universe – Logan! In case you forgot (which is like – impossible), James Mangold‘s epic action-adventure is set to hit theaters on July 26th, 2013, and beside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, also stars Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.
As for these latest character posters, they give us a much better (& stylish) look at Hiroyuki Sanada who plays Shingen Yashida – Yakuza crime boss and antagonist to Wolverine:
Tao Okamoto as Mariko Yashida: the daughter of Shingen, who is torn between her love for Logan and her duty to her father:
…and Will Yun Lee as Kenuichio Harada aka Silver Samurai who possesses the ability to charge hiskatana with tachyon energy and can then cut through almost anything:
Set sometime after X-Men: The Last Stand, Logan travels to Japan, where he engages a mysterious figure from his past in a fight that has lasting consequences. Vulnerable for the first time, and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel, but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than ever before.
