I'm, well I'm sorry again, if you get upset when films release a bunch of photos that don't actually reveal much, but the image below was released over director
James Mangold's
Twitter account along with this text message:
A production snap from shooting a wood chopping scene in Omishima. We found an eight inch caterpillar that morning.
While we still wait for him to hit us with a teaser trailer of the film, this new behind-the-scenes shot is a nice reminder that
Hugh Jackman lifted bunches of weights in preparation for the film.
The Wolverine takes place after
X-Men: The Last Stand and finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan where samurai steel will clash with artificial claws made of true adamantium as Jackman's titular character confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
The first trailer is due to be released at the end of March, possibly in theaters in front of
G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
The upcoming action adventure co-stars
Will Yun Lee (Die Another Day),
Hiroyuki Sanada (LOST),
Brian Tee (Fun with Dick and Jane),
Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamoto and
Svetlana Khodchenkova (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
The film is set to hit theaters on July 26th, 2013.

If you're still there, stay tuned, there's more to come.
