Another romantic comedy set to hit theaters this month is
The To Do List, which comes from director
Maggie Carey and stars
Aubrey Plaza in the leading role. We already had a little
chat about this project, so I'm sure you remember that it centers on an awkward high school senior who attempts to lose her virginity before she goes away to college. In other words: Plaza is going from
straight A's to getting
her first F.
Written and directed by Carey, the pic is set in 1993, and follows valedictorian Brandy Klark who wants to shed her uptight image before college, so she assembles a to do list of all the activities she missed out on in high school.
