Here are the IMP’s picks, these marked are mine ;)
BEST MOVIE POSTER 2007
‘Black Snake Moan’/ ‘Grindhouse’/
‘Premonition’/
‘Sweeney Todd’/
‘Zodiac’
WORST MOVIE POSTER 2007
‘The Brothers Solomon
’
‘Charlie Wilson’s War’ / ‘Fido’ / ‘Hostel Part II’ / ‘Martian Child’

The title, ‘Martian Child’, and plot suggest that this child may be from another planet. But based on the poster (left pic) the kid comes across as just some spoiled / eccentric kid. The international poster (right pic) does a much better job of telling us that this kid is not quite normal.
BEST TEASER
Posters that know how to grab your attention.
‘Evan Almighty’/
‘Saw IV’/‘There Will Be Blood’/‘The Simpsons Movie’
‘Shrek the Third’

When you have a character as iconic as Shrek, it’s easy to show just a little of him to get the point across. Seeing the crown and the top of his green head we immediately get a good idea of what’s in store. Just like with Shrek, The Simpsons is such a part of pop culture that we just need to see some fingers and we know who they belong to. A very simple attention-grabbing image.
Worst teaser, funniest, bravest poster after jump
WORST TEASER
‘The Comebacks’/‘Daddy’s Little Girls’/‘Fred Claus’/‘Hostel Part II’/
‘I Am Legend’

A teaser should grab your attention with visuals, not words. The visual itself is pretty meaningless. It’s just Will Smith walking. It relies too much on the gigantic tag line to get the film’s idea across.
FUNNIEST POSTER
‘Epic Movie’/‘Evan Almighty’/
‘Knocked Up’/
‘Ratatouille’/‘Walk Hard’
