The Last Airbender Trailer

Paramount Pictures has released the first full theatrical for The Last Airbender. To be honest, I think it actually looks pretty good. M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming movie is based on the hit Nickelodeon cartoon series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. The Last Airbender also stars Dev Patel, Cliff Curtis, Seychelle Gabriel, Shaun Toub and Jessica Andres. Shyamalan is planning to develop a trilogy of Airbender films, with this first one hitting theaters on July 2nd, 2010. A scene from The Last Airbender
