Here's another side scoop mesh option for you guys: the very first stand-alone
Star Wars film will be headlined by
Yoda!
After rumors of a possible
Hulk-centric films in
Marvel Studio's Phase Three slate, another big rumor surrounding the Mouse House's upcoming project surfaces.
Harry Knowles of
AICN has just posted that more than one stand-alone Star Wars movie is in the works and it seems that the first might be about Yoda, a little frickin green midget.
These statements are surely vague, but they are statements worth discussing. If nothing the badass lil' green Jedi Master lived for almost 900 years and he has so many stories to tell.
Harry claims:
The first Stand Alone film is going to center upon YODA. At this stage specifics are sparse, but Kathleen Kennedy is putting together a STAR WARS slate…
Besides Lucasfilm president Kennedy is developing the first non-episodic Star Wars feature, the site also mentions that they heard
George Lucas had an idea for a
Jabba the Hut story.
Oh – and I've also heard tale of a JABBA story that Lucas has floated to some of his buddies. But word is YODA is first.
The one question staying on my mind is what other stand alone Star Wars film would you like to see? Maybe Boba Fett?
As for now, Disney is busy preparing Star Wars
Episode VII.
Stay tuned.
