What the hell happened with
Matthew McConaughy and
Jared Leto? Don't worry guys, they're just busy working on their new project titled
Dallas Buyers Club. In case you've missed our previous reports, this is your perfect chance to find more details about an upcoming indie project which comes from director
Jean-Marc Vallee and to see more photos in the rest of this report!

The most important thing is that this project will actually tell us the true story of
Ron Woodroof, a tough Texas electrician who was diagnosed with AIDS in 1986 and given six months to live. It's not hard to guess that McConaughy plays that guy,
right?

Described as a frustrated with the lack of available medical options and unwilling to accept a death sentence (can you blame him?), Woodroof found a lifeline using alternative drugs and created a lucrative smuggling business that made those drugs available to AIDS patients.

As for the above mentioned cast,
Jared Leto plays a fellow AIDS patient who meets Woodroof in the hospital, or, if you prefer – a flamboyant cross-dresser with HIV.
He sure looks like one!
Jennifer Garner (guess she's the only one with a surprisingly normal role) also stars as the female lead, Dr. Eve Saks.

But, at the end of this report, let us also mention that
Dallas Roberts and
Steve Zahn are also on board to star in
Dallas Buyers Club.
Zahn will play a Dallas police officer who is sympathetic to Ron's cause because of his own father's bout with Alzheimer's, while Roberts will play David Wayne, Ron's defense attorney who represents his courtroom battle to force the FDA to allow AIDS patients to receive medications such as Peptide T and Fluconazole.
Vallee is directing the movie from a script written by
Craig Borten and
Melisa Wallack, and the production is currently under way in New Orleans.
So, what do you think?
