Here's another cool character poster for
The Croods, a prehistoric comedy adventure which is set to open next month. As you already see – it's time for all of us to take a better look at
Nicolas Cage and his
Grug guy, described as a caveman who is the well-meaning, overprotective but outdated patriarch of this cute family. Check him out in the rest of this report and let us know what you think!
Directed by
Chris Sanders and
Kirk DeMicco, the movie revolves around the world's first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed.
As you already know, beside Cage who stars as Grug,
The Croods voice-cast also includes
Catherine Keener as his wife Ugga,
Emma Stone as their eldest daughter Eep,
Clark Duke as their son Thunk,
Cloris Leachman as Grug's mother-in-law Gran, and
Ryan Reynolds as nomadic caveboy named Guy.
The Croods had its world premiere four days ago at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival and here's what Nicolas Cage had to say about his character:

He also added:
The first thing I thought was ‘Gee, I really hope I don't look like that'! But what I really like about the relationship that Emma and I have in the movie is that it's a relationship that I think many families can relate to: the over-protective father, the teenaged daughter who wants to have some adventure. I would like to see another adventure with the Croods.
The Croods is set to open on March 22nd, 2013.
