Mark Wahlberg revealed on
Anderson Cooper Live! In addition to that (now official) news, Wahlberg also confirmed that, because
Seth MacFarlane is

So, in an interview with Anderson Cooper, Wahlberg confirmed that
Ted 2 is officially in the works, and that he will be shooting
Transformers 4 first before he goes on to begin filming on
Ted 2:
We've already locked a deal and they're off writing now. I've never done a sequel before but I just have so much confidence in Seth. He's such a talented, funny guy. I could tell you that we're doing Transformers starting at the end of May, and then Ted 2 in September.

And, while talking about his upcoming projects, Wahlberg also added that he and his computer-animated bear will appear at the Oscars as well. We have no idea if they'll be presenting an award out there, or if it will just be for
fun's sake, but:
