Sylvester Stallone is quite busy guy these days. Ok, I guess that all eyes are on
The Expendables 2 at this moment, but I'm sure all Stallone's fans out there will be happy to hear he's now attached to star in the upcoming project titled
The Tomb as well!
Just in case this sounds familiar to you – congratulations, your memory is good!
But in case you have no idea what we're talking about, let me tell you that once upon a time,
Arnold Schwarzenegger and
Bruce Willis were attached to star in the whole thing, while
Antoine Fuqua was on board to direct it.
Of course, that didn't work out because Fuqua moved on to direct
Southpaw for MGM, so here we go all over again.
Anyway, The Tomb is penned by Miles Chapman, with a rewrite by Jason Keller, and the story follows Ray Breslin, the world's foremost authority on structural security.
After analyzing numerous high security prisons, Breslin is framed and incarcerated in a master prison that he designed himself, and must now figure out who put him there and, most importantly, find a way out.
No production start date has been set, but as usual, we'll keep you updated!
