Super 8 Set Photos, Cast Revealed

Production has begun on J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg's top secret science-fiction film Super 8. The movie will start filming in Weirton, West Virginia on Monday, September 20 where Abrams has spent the last several weeks scouting areas where the movie will be shot and choosing homes to replicate and finish filming in Los Angeles. According to Variety, shooting will commence this Autumn on a budget of around $45m. Although no details of the film have been confirmed, the plot is rumoured to centre around three siblings who discover footage of an alien in a video recording. Paramount has announced that Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee and Zach Mills are starring in the film.
