Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is probably one of the longest and greatest titles for a children's book. And, what also sounds not terrible, not horrible, but good, very good is that an live-action adaptation of the whole thing is coming, with Steve Carrell in talks to star as the lead! Judith Viorst‘s book follows a kid who went to sleep with gum in his mouth and woke up with gum in his hair. When he got out of bed, he tripped over his skateboard and by mistake dropped his sweater in the sink while the water was running. He could tell it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Nothing at all was right. Everything went wrong, right down to lima beans for supper and kissing on TV.
