The young thesp Carlos Miranda has joined Sofia Coppola‘s next film, The Bling Ring in a supporting role according to a new report.
The film is based on the ‘bling ring' burglars who were arrested in 2009 for a string of break-ins at more than 50 homes including Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom and Lindsay Lohan.
Last week, young actress Claire Julien was set to join Emma Watson, Taissa Farmiga and Leslie Mann with Coppola writing and directing.
Shooting starts this week in LA.
A duo of young thesps also joins fellow newcomers Israel Broussard, Katie Chang and Georgia Rock in the project based on real events.
Miranda is known as Tito in Lionsgate's action drama, Warrior.
As for Julien she will next be seen playing a small role in The Dark Knight Rises.
Coppola is producing alongside brother Roman Coppola and Youree Henley.
