Yesterday we
learned that
Shia LaBeouf was plotting a good old fashioned spy movie with
Robert De Niro and today another dream team looks to become reality.
Earlier this month,
Brad Pitt took the lead role of an army sergeant named ‘Wardaddy' in
David Ayer-directed World War II drama
Fury and now
comes word that LaBeouf is in talks to co-star.
The
Transformers star would play one of the five-man tank crew should his deal make. FYI, ‘Fury' is the name of a Sherman tank that runs across a desperate German division at the tail end of WWII.
Sony has set a November 14th, 2014, release date with lensing set to begin this September.
We can expect to see some more high-profile casting to come through with the production date fast approaching.
On the other hand, with production set to begin this fall, the WWII film will likely be LaBeouf's next project.
LaBoeuf who began his career in the Disney Channel series ‘Even Stevens' will next be seen on the big screen in Lars von Trier
Nymphomaniac.
Stay tuned.
