Audiences who enjoyed the low brow and hilarious adults-only 2016 animated feature “Sausage Party” have a new film to anticipate this summer. Prime Video has just released the official trailer for “Sausage Party: Foodtopia,” a series due out 11th July, 2024. Prepare for a wacky, side-splitting and envelope pushing journey with your favourite grocery store mascots.
Fans of the original ‘Sausage Party' couldn't help but roll on the floor laughing over the unadulterated blend of profanity and cartoonish features. Now, they return even better with Frank the hot dog, Brenda the bun, Barry, and Sammy in tow, and this time they're shooting for the top. In the episode known as Foodtopia, our gourmet team has the noble undertaking of building their own society. Yet much like in real life, things quickly go from bad to worse and before they know it they require the assistance of the very humans they detest.

The stellar voice cast that you heard in the first movie is back, and they include Seth Rogen as Frank, Kristen Wiig as Brenda, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester. The series is set to deliver eight portions of comedy and mayhem, including episodes by director Conrad Vernon, who co-directed the first movie.
“Sausage Party: Making plans for “Foodtopia”, Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter wrote the film alongside Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg in 2016. The show is produced by Annapurna Television, Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios. The executive producers are Rogen, Goldberg, James Weaver, Alex McAtee, and so on, who are big names in the entertainment sector.
This new series surely is expected to be ever better for the fans who enjoyed the original movie – and more. Look forward to hilarious and non-PC jokes, over-the-top situations, and the type of adult animation that raises as many questions as it does giggles.
It's time to set the reminder for July 11th and indulge in one of the most funniest and cheekiest summer treats. Whether you're a returning fan or new to the franchise, “Sausage Party: But, believe me, when I tell you it's called “Foodtopia,” you won't want to skip it.
