David Cronenberg‘s upcoming project titled Cosmopolis is getting bigger. Robert Pattinson and Paul Giamatti are already set to star in it but according to the latest reports, it looks that Samantha Morton and Juliette Binoche are going to be the part of this one, too!
That's exactly what Robert Pattinson revealed in an interview with MTV, so make sure to check out the rest of this report for more details.
Here's what Pattinson revealed:
“I know Juliette Binoche is in it now, and Samantha Morton. It's going to be a crazy cast. Like, I have a feeling it's going to be amazing.”
Not bad at all, we must admit. I'm sure you all remember Samantha Morton from Steven Spielberg's Minority Report, where she starred opposite Tom Cruise, but she's also starred in project like Oren Movernman's The Messenger, and Harmony Korine's Mister Lonely.
But let me remind you that the Cosmopolis is based on Don DeLillo's book of the same name, and follows 24 hours in the life of newly married billionaire Eric Packer (Pattinson) as he cheats on his wife, is pursued by a stalker (Paul Giamatti), gets attacked by a protester and gradually loses his entire fortune over the course of a single day. Unfortunately, at this moment still no word on the roles Morton and Binoche would play.
On the other hand, we do know that regular collaborators composer Howard Shore and director of photography Peter Suschitzy are said to be returning to work with Cronenberg on the movie.
Shooting on Cosmopolis starts this May in Toronto for nine weeks. Stay tuned for more updates!
I do believe this is a pic of Samantha Mathis, not Samantha Morton.
