Buried stars Ryan Reynolds and also features Robert Paterson (Sahara), Stephen Tobolowsky (Glee) and Samantha Mathis (Harsh Realm, Grey's Anatomy).
In the film, Reynolds plays Paul Conroy, a truck driver working in Iraq when he is ambushed and knocked unconscious. Waking up in a coffin with nothing more than a cell phone, a lighter, and a knife, he has to find a way out before he runs out of air. The movie will no doubt be one of the better thrillers that come out this fall and is perfectly situated for Halloween viewing.
The film was directed by Rodrigo Cortes (15 Days, The Contestant,Dirt Devil) from a script by Chris Sparling. Adrián Guerra and Peter Safran are credited as producers
Buried is receiving a limited release on September the 24th and then opening across the country on October the 8th.
