Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger is a “terrible” movie star – because she hates promoting her work.
The actress – who is busy publicising new movie Leatherheads – admits she finds interviews with the media tiresome.
She says,
I'm a terrible movie star. I'm not good at it. I can pretend to be but it takes a lot out of me. It's not my natural inclination to go, ‘Oh good! Another talk show!'Zellweger also admits she chooses film characters who bear no resemblance to herself – because doesn't want to feel vulnerable on the big screen. She adds, “I don't feel safe playing the girl who looks like me. There's not enough to hide behind. “The further removed the character is from my own, the more fun and easier it is.”
