Gerard Butler with thick Scottish accent has been hired to star in actioner
Olympus Has Fallen for Millennium Films.
The spec script for the White House-set film, described as Die Hard in the White House, was written by relatively unknown screenwriters Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt looking to prove their storytelling ability and make a name for themselves in the film industry.
Butler will play an ex Secret Service agent who must foil a terrorist attack when 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is taken over by terrorists.
Millennium Films is currently seeking a director to work on an exciting new project.
