Olivia Munn, host of G4's daily “
Attack of the Show” has landed roles in
Marvel Studios‘ anticipated sequel “
Iron Man 2.”
USA Today has some more information about Munn's upcoming role:
“All my scenes (in Iron Man 2) are with Robert Downey and one other actor. I don't know how much I can say,” she says. “We were (improvising) and it came to me (to say a line) … (Later) Robert said, ‘Can we just stop a second and give Olivia a round of applause. She is rocking it. That made me feel good.”
Munn is also attached to “
Date Night,” with
Tina Fey and
Steve Carrell, “
Freeloaders“, and the upcoming
Broken Lizard comedy “
The Slammin Salmon“.
“Iron Man 2” stars
Robert Downey Jr. and the eponymous hero,
Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes,
Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts,
Mickey Rourke as Whiplash,

Oliva Munn has been confirmed as playing the role of War Machine in Iron Man 2. Don Cheadle is still playing Col. James Rhodes but, I believe that Oliva is being used for War Machine’s movements, when suited; which is really when Rhodey becomes War Machine anyway. Check IMDB. It has Oliva listed as playing War Machine. So, that’s the only thing that makes any sense to me.
That’s clearly a joke that went too far. Olivia Munn posted in jest on her twitter that she would be playing War Machine. Someone at IMDB either is really gullible or has a sense of humor.
iron maiden ! there are pictures of her and black widow fighting on the net if they have not been removed. war machine lol! i heard she sleeps with stark to get his tech but is sidetracked by black widow in the process
