Let's Be Cops – make sure you remember this title, 'cause some pretty cool cast is already on board for the whole thing. And ok, you have a right to say that it's yet another
boring comedy, but hey – at least we have
Nina Dobrev and
James D' Arcy set to star in a project which comes from
The Girl Next Door helmer
Luke Greenfield. More details in the rest of this report…
Greenfield will direct the movie from a script he co-wrote with
Nicholas Thomas, which revolves around two best friends who have become disappointed with how mundane their lives have become.
That's why they soon decide to impersonate cops and live in the perks of enforcing the law…
Damon Wayans Jr. and
Jake Johnson are already on board to play the above mentioned friends,
James D' Arcy will play the mobster, while
Nina Dobrev jumps in to play Wayans' love interest.
At the end of this report, let us also add that Greenfield will produce
Let's Be Cops together with
Simon Kinberg, and as usual – for more updates, make sure you stay tuned!
