Midnight In Paris star
Nina Arianda is definitely one busy lady these days. She's already attached to star in the Sean Durkin directed biopic
Joplin, then we also know she's set to star in Ned Benson's
The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby, and now comes the word that she will play Giulietta Masina in the upcoming
Henry Bromwell‘s project titled
Fellini Black and White. Wow, what a year for Arianda!
So, Arianda as Giulietta Masina? We already like it! As you probably remember, Fellini Black and White is the true story of
Federico Fellini's first trip to Los Angeles in 1957 for the Oscars where
Nights Of Cabiria, starring Masina, was nominated, only to disappear for two days before making it to the ceremony.
Beside Arianda, the film will also star
William H. Macy, Terrence Howard, Peter Dinklage and
Wagner Maura as Federico Fellini.
So basically, we will have a chance to see what Fellini's life looked like at that moment, how he discovered the vibrant jazz and surf scenes of the era and fell in love with a veterinarian while his wife tried to drown her sorrows by cavorting with Ricky Nelson.
The movie is scheduled to begin shooting in early 2013.
As usual, we'll keep an eye on it.
