Our Wild Life finally has
Nicole Kidman on board. Yeah, exactly, it's official, Kidman will indeed star in the upcoming
Phillip Noyce‘s project based on the life of animal conservationist Dame Daphne Sheldrick.
I'm not actually sure if I'm even interested in this one, but hey, what the hell – I guess I'm always interested in Nicole-Kidman-big-comeback. After all, she's been returning to the big screen for… ages?
So, in case you're interested as well, I will remind you that Jeff Stockwell wrote the script, and that Our Wild Life tells the real life story of Dame Daphne Sheldrick, a Kenyan wildlife conservationist best known for her work with elephants.
In fact, Sheldrick hand-reared more than 70 elephants and perfected a milk formula used for baby elephants and rhinos.
And, let me also add that once upon a time Nick Cassavetes and Walter Salles were attached, while actresses such as Julia Roberts and Kate Winslet circled as well.
Now, with Kidman on board, we can also let you know that production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2012 in Africa with an eye towards a holiday 2012 release.
And, that's all I have to say about this one. Stay tuned!
