The supernatural actioner
R.I.P.D. starring
Jeff Bridges, Ryan Reynolds and
Mary-Louise Parker was back into filming in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, November 25, and we've got pictures from the shoot.
The trio were re-shooting scenes for the film, based on the Dark Horse mini-series, ‘R.I.P.D.' which stands for ‘
Rest In Peace Department' and is
Peter Lenkov‘s comedic amalgam of the police and zombie genres featuring two dead police officers whose job it is to help the dead ‘rest in peace.'
Bridges has sported a more Western look wearing the headwear in several films of late, including True Grit and Crazy Heart.
Parker plays a character called Proctor, involved with Bridges' Bo, who informs police officer Nick Walker (Reynolds) that he is now a zombie after being killed on duty; Walker agrees to serve 100 years in the department in exchange for a chance to search for the man who set him up.
The upcoming comic book film directed by
Robert Schwentke has been shifted to July 19th, 2013, co-starring
Stephanie Szostak, Marisa Miller, Mike O'Malley, James Hong and
Robert Knepper.
Check it out.
