We've already shared a
bunch of posters and the trailer (below) for
Terrence Malick‘s new visual poem,
To The Wonder. The film is due to be released in the UK first, so yet another one sheet has arrived for the movie.
An intimate new poster showing our lead couple,
Ben Affleck and
Olga Kurylenko in happier times. The romantic drama tell us the story of Marina and Neil, who meet in France and move to Oklahoma to start a life together, where problems soon arise. A meditation on faith, love, suffering, and forgiveness that not only speaks to the nature of romantic love, but the ability to feel and to connect with others on universal scale.
Javier Bardem co-stars as a local priest, Father Quintana in a parallel storyline who also delivers the film's narration, while
Rachel McAdams plays an old flame from Neil's hometown. Neil's doubts about his life and loves are reflected in the crisis of faith experienced by Father Quintana, who only sees pain and the loss of hope in the world.
Although To The Wonder is one of Malick's shortest films, it feels like his longest. The film was premiered at the Venice Film Festival, but Toronto audiences were far more accepting of new Malick's movie.

To the Wonder opens in the U.K. on February 22nd and will see a U.S. release on April 12th, 2013.
