Even though the voiceover narration here is in Japanese, the last
Jack Reacher trailer did enough to tell you what the movie's about, more than any of the
previous trailers combined.
We see the only way for our hero to get justice is in the street, disregarding civil authority. However, trailer doesn't reveal if Reacher has done what he was supposed to do, or did he fall short of his mission. It's refreshing to see
Tom Cruise as a less clean-cut hero than is his usual stock in trade.

One Shot', the ninth book in a series of 17 featuring the titular character, also starring
Werner Herzog, Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, Robert Duvall, Jai Courtney and
David Oyelowo.
Paramount is hoping that the Reacher's fan base will turn out for what they hope to be a franchise of his films.
