While Machinima debuted a new domestic trailer for Paramount Pictures' G.I. Joe: Retaliation a new international trailer has also premiered online.
The new trailer focuses more on Storm Shadow, the ninja bodyguard of Cobra Commander, as well as the usual action set pieces and lines from Johnson and Willis. The trailer continues to highlight that the series is going back to its action figure/comic/cartoon roots, and still looks like a lot of fun.
One thing you haven't seen in either trailer, but we got to see was our first glimpse of RZA as Blind Master, who tells Snake Eyes that if Storm Shadow is still alive, he needs to bring him to justice.
We got to watch a little more of the face-off between them, the latter's throwing ninja stars vs. the former's bullets, which actually made it into the international trailer while only seeing a brief glimpse in the domestic one.
The sequel opens on March 29th, 2013, starring D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson, respectively as Joe Colton and Roadblock.
