I'm definitely interested in
Neill Blomkamp‘s upcoming
Elysium, and as far as I'm concerned – political and sociological themes are always welcome. If you share my opinion – then I'm sure you're going to love this brand new TV spot for the whole thing. Pretty creepy message from Max De Costa aka
Matt Damon:
our survival is a world away! Think about that, and head inside to check him out…
So, just like you had a chance to see from the latest
trailer and the very first
TV spot for the upcoming sci-fi spectacle, the movie is set in the year 2154, where two classes of people exist.
On one side we have the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called
Elysium, and on the other side – people who live on an overpopulated, ruined planet.

In case you forgot the rest of the plot:
The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max, an ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium's Secretary Delacourt and her hard-line forces – but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.
Beside Damon, the rest of
Elysium cast includes
Jodie Foster,
Sharlto Copley,
Alice Braga,
Diego Luna,
William Fichtner and
Wagner Moura, and the movie is set to hit theaters on August 9th, 2013.
