Moonrise Kingdom, remember that one? Yeah, it's the upcoming Wes Anderson‘s movie which is set to premiere on May 16th as the opening film of this year's Cannes Film Festival.
We already shared some great images and an official trailer for the whole thing, but today, we're here to update our story with some cool new featurettes.
I'm sure you're going to love it, because Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton and Wes Anderson are in charge for these behind-the-scenes videos. I totally love Willis' style, but please – let's not forget great Bob Balaban as a narrator as well!
For those of you who forgot, Moonrise Kingdom is set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, and tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness.
As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore – and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff.
Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader, Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl's parents, while the rest of the cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl.
Moonrise Kingdom opens in select theatres on May 25th, 2012!
