Directed by
Harald Zwart, the movie is based on the first book of
The Mortal Instruments series by
Cassandra Clare, and revolves around an ordinary teenage girl, played by
Lily Collins, who discovers she is the descendant of a line of
Shadowhunters.
In case you forgot – we're talking about a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons.
