We've just learned that Mischa Barton is set to lead Rock Jacobs‘ directorial debut which will revolve around an ad exec who falls in with an unsavory fast money crowd. Sounds awkward, but now when Barton is on board – we'll give them a try!
So, at this moment, the only thing we know about Fast Life is that the story will center on an ad exec who falls in with an unsavory fast money crowd, only to be drawn to its antithesis when introduced to an unimpressed young woman.
And you already guess – that young woman is Mischa Barton.
As we said, the movie will be Rock Jacobs' feature directorial debut (just for a record – he has directed music videos for Vanessa Hudgens and Miranda Cosgrove), and Jessie Rusu & Artist Int. are on board to produce the whole thing.
Fast Life starts shooting this summer in Los Angeles, so I guess we'll soon have more updates to share.
