Michael Madsen is set to star in an upcoming indie drama simply titled
The Lost Tree.
As usual, when we write about these kind of projects – you can not expect to hear some spectacular story details, but the good thing is that (if you're a horror fan of course) you'll be glad to hear that there's an isolated cabin involved!
Written and directed by
Brian A. Metcalf, this movie will center on a man who is guilt-ridden for the death of his wife. That's why he travels to an isolated cabin in search of peace and isolation. But he soon learns of the dangerous surroundings of the area…
Thomas Ian Nicholas is already on board to play that guilt-ridden man, while
Clare Kramer stars as his wife. As for Madsen, he jumps in to play the role of the father, with
Lacey Chabert playing the main character's best friend and co-worker.
Scott Grimes also stars as a real estate agent.
Principal photography on The Lost Tree starts next month in Los Angeles.
Until something new arrives – stay tuned!
